Last updated 2026-10-06. Written in plain English — this is a free fan project, not a commercial product, and the terms reflect that.
The Warband Tavern is a free, fan-made World of Warcraft companion site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft, Battle.net, and all related names, images, and data are the property of Blizzard Entertainment — use of this site does not transfer any rights to that material.
You sign in with your own Battle.net account. You're responsible for keeping that account secure — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what we read and store. Don't use the site to attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or access another person's data without authorization.
The WarbandTavern WoW addon and the standalone Sync app are optional. Installing them is at your own discretion and subject to Blizzard's own addon policy. Running third-party addons or companion apps is something Blizzard permits but doesn't officially support.
This is a free side project, maintained in spare time. It's provided "as is," with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or that any particular feature will keep working the way it does today — especially after a WoW patch changes something Blizzard's API exposes. We'll fix real bugs when we find them, but we can't promise a timeline.
The site, its features, and these terms can change at any time. If something meaningful changes here, the date at the top will update.
